Saint Vincent Tournante 2021 - THE POSTER FOR THE SAINT-VINCENT TOURNANTE 2021

On the occasion of the next Saint-Vincent Tournante 2021 which will take place on January 29 and 30, 2022, the villages of Corpeau, Puligny-Montrachet and Blagny, are pleased to unveil the poster of the event. The artist photographers Pierre Javelle and his companion Akiko Ida, both graduates of Beaux Arts and Decorative Arts in Paris, were choosen, with their unique Minimiam concept. This concept of photographic works illustrats Greed and childhood emotions.

Originally from the Val de Saône and knight of Tastevin, Pierre has already produced several menu with the minimiams for the Chapters of the Confraternity, and his work has been published in several magazines and newspapers in France and abroad.

To transcribe the theme of the 4 elements of the next Saint-Vincent, the artists were inspired by a Burgundy journey in which the steam train is the key element and pulls wagons symbolizing air, fire, earth, and water. Thus the air wagon highlights a man and a woman holding a kite with the colors of Puligny-Montrachet. The fire wagon illustrates a winegrower tired by the heat of the sun in his vineyards. The earth wagon symbolizes the renewal of nature with the planting of young vines. Finally, the water wagon is a meteorological allegory to the vagaries of the weather. In the background, the “climates” of Burgundy declined in the four seasons. In this miniature universe, this very finely detailed poster reveals multiple references to wine and Burgundy traditions.
